Jonathan Duckett

Jonathan Duckett is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. He is proud to have grown up in Jacksonville, Florida though for the last 6 years has called Orlando home. Having been raised in the Christian faith he spent his early twenties working on a degree in religion from a small Bible college before transferring and graduating with a Bachelor’s from Liberty University. After several years of discernment he then enrolled in Reformed Theological Seminary and graduated from there with a Master’s of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling.

Professionally, he has enjoyed working with students and families in church ministry settings for over a decade. Currently, he is thrilled to be the school counselor for The Ecclesial Schools Initiative. He also has a passion for working with individuals regarding trauma, gender and sexuality, faith and spirituality, grief and loss, marriage and relationship issues, and addiction. A self-described avid lover of stories, he is impassioned and honored to help others to discover and tell their own story.

In his free time Jonathan might be found at the beach (one of his goals is to learn to surf), reading a C. S. Lewis book in his hammock at one of Orlando’s many parks, training for a long-term goal of running a marathon, watching a great movie with friends, rolling dice in a rousing game of Dungeons and Dragons, or engaged in a mind-enriching puzzle or video game.
